Oxley. New first floor addition and complete redo of existing

This home was just over 20 years old and all still original and in desperate need of an update. At the same time the clients with 4 young children were out growing it. After looking to move but not finding a suitable home and the fact they loved the location, they decided to stay and extend/renovate. To enable them to maintain the large outdoor living area and yard space they enjoyed we decided to add a second floor, which incorporated two new bedrooms, a bathroom and a living space and became a teenagers retreat. The staircase area  was an extension on the ground floor so nothing was lost on the original level. We then removed internal walls downstairs to open up the living family area, incorporated a in built fireplace, large new galley kitchen with butlers pantry built, polished timber floors throughout, replaced all the windows, re roofed the entire house, rendered, repainted all inside and out, built a new stone entry and replaced the driveway, a complete new home.
